Christmas Makers Market in Bundaberg

Christmas has a way of creeping up fast, and there's something nice about ticking a few gifts off the list early, especially when they're handmade and made locally. Bundaberg Quilters Inc is inviting the community along to a Christmas Makers Market this October, giving shoppers a head start on the season.
The Christmas Makers Market runs over two days, Friday 23 and Saturday 24 October 2026, from 9:30am to 3pm at the Family Centre Hall, on the corner of Walker and Kensington Street, directly behind the Multiplex Centre. All stalls are full of locally made treasures including handmade gifts and Christmas décor. Entry is free, light refreshments will be available, and there's a raffle and lucky door prize on offer. It's worth noting there's no EFTPOS on site, so all sales are cash only.
Markets like this are a good way to support local makers, pick up gifts with a bit more thought behind them, and enjoy a relaxed morning out browsing rather than fighting the crowds at the shops. It's also a nice reminder of the community that sits behind events like this, with local groups like Bundaberg Quilters putting in the work to bring something a little different to the calendar each year.
