There's something about a country music festival that pulls a whole town together, and Monto is about to get its first taste of it. If you're after a day out with good music, good food and a bit of that laid-back country atmosphere, this one's worth putting in the diary. Families are welcome with Kids under 12 Free must be accompanied by an Adult.
The Inaugural Monto Country Music Festival is on Saturday 24 October 2026, starting at 10am, and is proudly brought to you by the Albert Hotel Monto and XFire Music. It's a one-day event across three stages, with live music running all day from a big line-up of local and interstate acts, including;
- Keely Ellen
- Hillbilly Goats
- Lance Friend
- D'Mango Thieves
- The Marshal Brothers
- Murphy Road
- Chris Night and the Station Hands
- Tiffany Grace
- Jackson Dunn
- Timothy Johnson
- Mick Douglas
- Grace Ellerton

And many more, with additional names still to be announced. On top of the music, there'll be cold drinks and food on offer throughout the day. Tickets are on sale now through Oztix.
Community events like this give families and locals a chance to get together, enjoy some live entertainment, and support a town that doesn't often get festivals of this size. It's a good opportunity to catch some new music, run into familiar faces, and spend a relaxed day outdoors as the weather starts to warm up. Whether you're a long-time country music fan or just keen for a fun day out, it's shaping up to be a solid addition to the local calendar.
