Winner of the First Nations Artist Award for the Qld Regional Art Awards, Darren Blackman, leads young artists in this Printmaking with Stamps school holiday workshop. This workshop is aimed at young artists, aged 12 - 17, to develop their printmaking skills and learn new creative techniques.

The workshop will guide participants through each step of designing, cutting and printing with handmade stamps. It’s a fun workshop to learn a printmaking technique they can use at home without a printing press!
Darren Blackman is a proud Gureng Gureng/Gangalu man with maternal South Sea Islander heritage from Vanuatu. With a range of practical skills and approaches to art making, Darren specialises in printmaking and ceramics, but also undertakes improv performance, music and painting.
