Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Month 2025

Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Month
Going Purple for DFV
🗓️ - 1st to 31st May 2025
During May, DFV Prevention Month 2025, we are calling on our community
to show support by going purple to raise awareness for Domestic and Family
Violence.
The colour purple symbolises peace, courage, survival, honour, and
dedication to ending violence. By wearing purple or displaying it in your
business or service, you honour the lives lost, support those who remain, and
stand with those currently experiencing Domestic and Family Violence.
Together, we can raise awareness and spark change. Let’s speak up and be
the voice that breaks the silence
Don’t forget to hashtag your purple displays with #endDFV.
