Easter in the Gardens 2025 Bundaberg Audio Descriptions
New to Easter in the Gardens in 2024, audio descriptions return in 2025! We will be utilising assistive technology throughout the walking tour offering audible descriptive narration when a QR code is scanned.
Visitors can listen to audio narrations describing the egg's design and its location within the gardens. This is creating a more inclusive experience primarily for participants who are blind or experience low vision. However, descriptive narration is often a useful resource to support the needs of other participants who benefit from audio descriptions.
2023 & 2024 was the Year of Accessible Tourism, so with that in mind we wanted to continue including more accessible features to our programs and events. This is the first time we have used audio description to offer equitable viewing experiences to participants and we are keen to hear feedback from the public.
