1. Dyed eggs

A traditional Easter craft that only requires a little food colouring and water. Dye your own eggs!

What you will need:

• Vinegar
• Boiling water
• Food colouring
• Hard boiled eggs

Method:

Mix 1/2 cup boiling water, 1 teaspoon vinegar and 10 to 20 drops food color in a cup to achieve desired colors. Repeat for each color. Dip hard-boiled eggs in dye for about 5 minutes. Use a slotted spoon, wire egg holder or tongs to add and remove eggs from dye. Use paint pens to personalise your eggs however you like!

2. Easter characters

Make up a bunch of these cardboard characters to hold small chocolate eggs and other little treats.

What you will need:

• Paper plates
• Coloured paper and card
• Party hats
• Decorations (feathers, stickers, pom poms etc)
• Glue, sissors, sticky tape

3. Foam Egg Gift Tags

Make your own foam eggs for Easter to use as gift tags.

What you will need:

• Sheets of coloured foam
• Sizzors, glue

Method:

Cut egg shapes, spots, wavy lines from the foam sheets and glue together.

4. Bunny masks

Make cute bunny masks!

What you will need:

• Coloured paper and card
• Scissors, glue, sticky tape

Method:

Cut ears, whiskers and face shapes using the paper and card.  Use tape and glue to asemble.

5. Egg-shaped decoration

Adorn a mantle with Easter bunting made into an egg shape with some colourful paints.

What you will need:

• Paint
• Card
• Ribbon
• Scissors, paintbrush

Method:

Paint cards and wait to dry. Cut egg shapes from the card, add a small hole to the top and string together using ribbon to make Easter bunting.
