Easter in the Gardens Competition Terms and Conditions 2025
Promotion Descriptions
The ‘Play & Puzzle’ (‘Game of Skill’), ‘Golden Egg’ (‘Game of Skill’), and ‘People’s Choice’ (‘Random Draw’) competitions begin on 1st April 2025 at 5am (Brisbane) and end on 30th April 2025 at 12pm (Brisbane) (the “Promotion Period”).
By participating in the Game of Skill and Random Draw, each entrant unconditionally accepts and agrees to comply with and abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of Wide Bay Kids, which shall be final and binding in all respects. Wide Bay Kids is responsible for the collection, submission, and processing of entries and the overall administration of the competitions. Entrants should direct any questions, comments, or concerns to Wide Bay Kids.
Official Rules
- The competition is open to all ages, except for employees of Wide Bay Kids Easter in the Gardens organisers and their immediate family members.
- To enter the ‘Play & Puzzle’ competition, participants must complete games and puzzles along the pathway and fill out the entry form provided by the organisers. The completed map must be placed in the entry box at 1928 Café in Bundaberg Botanic Gardens or submitted online via the official website.
- To enter the ‘Golden Egg’ competition, participants must be the first person to find a Golden Egg and follow the instructions printed inside to claim their prize.
- To enter the ‘People’s Choice’ competition, participants must complete the online survey on the official website and vote for an egg.
- Only one entry per person, per competition is allowed during the Promotion Period (April 1 – April 30, 2025). Duplicate or fraudulent entries will be disqualified.
- The competition will run throughout April 2025, with winners being selected at random, except for Golden Egg Winners, from all eligible entries.
- Winners will be notified via the contact information provided on their entry form and will have seven (7) days to claim their prize. Failure to claim the prize within this timeframe may result in the prize being forfeited, and another winner may be selected.
- Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash.
- Wide Bay Kids Easter in the Gardens reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the competition at any time without prior notice.
- By entering the competition, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and the decisions of the organisers, which are final and binding.
- Personal information collected from participants will be used solely for administering the competition and will be handled in accordance with the privacy policy.
- These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Australia, and any disputes arising from or related to the competition will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
Eligibility
Open to legal residents of Australia of all ages. Void where prohibited by law. Employees of Wide Bay Kids, their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members or household members are not eligible to enter.
Winners Selection
Winners of the ‘Game of Skill’ competitions will be selected based on answers provided on the form from all eligible entries received. Winners will be selected, within 48 hours of the promotion period ending, by Wide Bay Kids or its designated representative whose decisions are final.
- Winners will be notified by email or phone using the address provided in their entry.
- Winners must accept the prize by email or phone within 48 hours of notification.
- Failure to respond within the required timeframe may result in the prize being forfeited and re-drawn.
- Prize winners may be required to sign a Prize Claim Document to confirm eligibility and release liability.
- No prize substitution or transfer is permitted, except at Wide Bay Kids’ discretion.
Prizes
- ‘Play & Puzzle’ (Game of Skill) – ONE (1) winner will receive an Easter Gift Pack valued at $50.
- ‘Golden Egg’ (Game of Skill) – TWELVE (12) winners (one per egg found) will receive a $25 Bundy Bowl and Leisure Centre gift voucher, thanks to sponsorship from Cr John Learmonth and 4 Seasons Allied Health.
- ‘People’s Choice’ (Random Draw) – ONE (1) winner will receive an Easter Gift Pack valued at $50.
- Postage is not included in the prize.
- Prizes cannot be transferred, redeemed for cash, or substituted by the winner.
- Wide Bay Kids is not responsible for any lost or stolen prize items and will not replace them.
- Prizes will only be awarded and delivered within Bundaberg, Australia.
Online Entry
Entries must be submitted online via the official website during the Promotion Period.
- Automated or robotic entries submitted by individuals or organisations will be disqualified.
- Entrants attempting to submit multiple entries using different identities, email addresses, or other methods will be disqualified.
- All entries must be submitted before the competition closes on April 30, 2025.
Privacy
- If chosen as a winner, entrants acknowledge that their name may be disclosed publicly if required by law.
- All personal information submitted will not be shared with third parties and will only be used for administering the competition.
- All entrants will receive automatic subscription to the Wide Bay Kids VIP mail list for exclusive content and giveaways. Entrants may unsubscribe after the Promotion Period.
Winner’s List
To obtain a list of winners, contact Wide Bay Kids via email (info@widebaykids.com.au) with the subject line “Easter in the Gardens Competition.” Requests must be made within three (3) months of the competition closing date.

The competition is sponsored by Wide Bay Kids – info@widebaykids.com.au.
Liability and Limitation
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A purchase does not improve the chances of winning. Wide Bay Kids is not responsible for:
- Any incorrect or inaccurate entry information.
- Technical issues, including lost or delayed entries, network malfunctions, or software failures.
- Mail delivery failures or errors in notifying winners.
- Any damages or losses arising from participation in the competition or acceptance of a prize.
If unforeseen circumstances arise, Wide Bay Kids reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the competition at its sole discretion.
