Expression swing Anzac Park Maryborough

WOW!  Lucky you Fraser Coast!  In what is believed to be a first for Queensland, an Expression Swing has been installed in Anzac Park, Maryborough.  I remember seeing a video for one of these swings almost six months ago and thinking how great one would be.  I have to admit I love a good swing myself and now parents and carers can participate in the fun with their children!

If you don’t know what an expression swing is, it has two seats, one for the adult and one for the child.  The seats face each other allowing the swingers to see each other’s face as they swing together!

The swing has been fully installed at Anzac Park and has been operational as of this week.  A second swing is being installed at Brendan Hansen Park and it is anticipated that it will be operational before Christmas.

Funding for both swings came from Cr Sanderson’s Discretionary Fund and we think this was great use of these funds.
