Further RECALL on Children’s Medicines
RECALL – children’s medicine (Updated 3 August 2015) recall – additional batches affected.
Consumers and health professionals are advised that Symbion has identified three additional batches affected by the issue described below and is adding them to the recall.
The additional products are:
• Chemmart and Pharmacy Choice ibuprofen children’s suspensions AND children’s paracetamol 6 – 12 years concentrated (updated 3 August 2015)
• Terry White Chemists branded ibuprofen children’s suspension.
• Pharmacy Care children’s paracetamol suspension for 6 to 12 years AND Pharmacy Care children’s paracetamol elixir for 1 to 5 years (published 3 August 2015).
What to do:
If you have ibuprofen or paracetamol from the potentially affected batches, return the medicine to the place of purchase for refund or replacement. Alternatively, you can call Symbion’s customer service line on 1300 430 611.
In the meantime do not use the affected batch.
