Get Started Grants – Get in the Game!
Get Started Grants is one of three funding programs that comprise the Queensland Government’s Get in the Game initiative to support grassroots sport and recreation.
Get Started assists children and young people who can least afford or may otherwise benefit from joining a sport or recreation club.
What funding is available?
A maximum of $150 per voucher is available to help pay the cost of sport or recreation membership and/or participation fees.
Who can apply?
Individuals eligible to apply for a voucher are children and young people from the age of five and under the age of 18 who are residents of Queensland and:
- hold or whose parent, carer or guardian holds a Centrelink Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card
- other children/young people identified by two referral agents.
