How to make coloured Spaghetti
How to make coloured Spaghetti
It’s great fun to create your own sensory play activities! We made this coloured spaghetti for our Wide Bay Kids Playgroup for Messy Play Day recently. The kids all had a blast cutting the spaghetti with scissors, squishing it with their fingers and just having fun playing around with it. We also had jelly, shaving foam, water balls and mud pies! This is how to make coloured Spaghetti:
What you need:
- a packet of Spaghetti
- food colouring
- a bowl for each colour
What you do:
Cook the spaghetti according to packet directions.
Drain and divide the spaghetti in to separate bowls. One bowl for each food colour.
Add the food colouring, and toss to coat all the spaghetti. Leave to set for around two hours.
Once set, rinse, combine and place in sealed container. Refrigerate until it’s play time!!
