Guinness World Records Challenge – Australia's Biggest Berry Picking Day

A Guinness World Record Challenge is comint to Bundaberg! Australia's Biggest Berry Picking Day is a special event giving families and berry lovers the chance to take part in an attempt to break two world records. Hosted by SSS Strawberries, the event will bring participants together at a local berry farm in Oakwood for a full day of picking and community fun.
The event will be held on Saturday 19 September 2026 from 7am-3pm at 11 Rosedale Road, Oakwood. Doors open from 6:30am, giving participants an early start before the main event gets underway. The challenge is centred around berry picking, with the organisers aiming to bring people together as part of an attempt to set two new Guinness World Records. It is an opportunity for people of all ages to get involved in a large-scale berry picking event while being part of something a little different for the local community.
With eight hours of activities planned, participants can spend the day at the Oakwood location and take part in the world record challenge. The event is listed as being suitable for all ages, making it an option for families looking for something different to do during the September Spring School Holidays in Bundaberg. Families attending should allow plenty of time to arrive and get organised before the challenge begins.
