I'm a Dirty Dinosaur
One Book One Bundy
One Book One Bundy is an exciting community engagement project initiated by the Bundaberg Family and Baby Network working in collaboration with the Bundaberg Regional Libraries First Five Forever Project and the broader community of Bundaberg.
This project promotes early language and literacy across an entire year using the book I'm a Dirty Dinosaur by Janeen Brien. The focus is to raise broad awareness of the importance of early language and literacy development and building relationships between parents and children around literacy.
How to join in One Book One Bundy...
Step 1: Visit a Library Jungle Space
Visit Childers, Gin Gin and Bundaberg Libraries to see and play within the Dinosaur Jungle spaces! Each library will have permanent activities set up through out 2018 promoting lots of reading, talking singing and playing opportunities.
Step 2: Download the Resource Guide
If you need some inspiration on how to incorporate I'm a Dirty Dinosaur in your child's day, download the Resource Guide.
This guide has been prepared by the FAB Early Language and Literacy Working Group in partnership with Bundaberg Regional Libraries and incorporates fun activities, songs and games all themed around the I'm a Dirty Dinosaur book.
Step 3: Borrow a Resource Kit
Thanks to Bundaberg Regional Libraries, I'm a Dirty Dinosaur resource kits are available to borrow.
