Kids Christmas Craft Morning
Christmas craft is one of those activities that gets kids excited about the season, and it's even better when someone else has the scissors, glue and glitter organised. This December, a free Kids Christmas Craft morning is on offer for local children, giving them time to get creative before the big day.
The Kids Christmas Craft session runs on Wednesday 16 December 2026 from 10am to 12pm. Children will design their own 2027 calendar and make a range of Christmas-themed keepsakes to take home. It's suitable for children up to 12 years, and the session is free. Bookings are essential, so families will need to get in touch ahead of time to secure a spot. The session is being run by Child and Family Support.
A morning of making things gives kids the chance to use their imagination, practise their fine motor skills and take pride in creating something themselves. Designing a calendar for the year ahead is also a thoughtful project, and one that can be given as a gift or hung up at home. For families, a free craft session is a welcome option in the busy lead-up to Christmas, offering a relaxed morning out and a chance to meet other local parents and carers. It also means one less thing to organise at home, with the craft supplies and ideas taken care of.
