Kids in Safe Seats Bundaberg Easter in the Gardens 2025 Sponsor

Kids in Safe Seats Joins Easter in the Gardens again in 2025!
Easter in the Gardens 2025 is just around the corner, and we’re thrilled to announce that Kids in Safe Seats is once again sponsoring this much-loved community event! Their continued support highlights their commitment to keeping Bundaberg families safe on the road.
Kids in Safe Seats is a vital community service providing professional car seat fittings, safety checks and seat hires to ensure that children are travelling safely. Properly fitted and adjusted child restraints significantly reduce the risk of injury in a crash, and Kids in Safe Seats helps parents and caregivers make sure their little ones are secured correctly.
As part of their sponsorship, Kids in Safe Seats has named their GIANT Easter ‘Eggward’. Families visiting Easter in the Gardens can spot their egg while enjoying the colourful displays and Easter fun.
If you’d like to book a child car seat fitting, safety check or seat hire, you can find more information at Wide Bay Kids – Kids in Safe Seats or contact the team directly. Keeping kids safe is their priority, and they’re here to help families across Bundaberg travel with confidence.

Meet the 'Eggward' Artist: Julie Hylands

Julie Hylands is a visual artist whose practice incorporates painting, light, installation and 3 dimensional works.
After completing a BA Visual Art with Honours in 2003 in Western Australia, she has held ten solo exhibitions and has participated in many group exhibitions. Julie relocated to Qld in 2015 where she currently practices from her home studio.
Julies’ practice is inspired through her presence in and around the ocean culminating in works that suggest a sense of depth, translucency and allure with many dichotomies at play - light/dark; surface/depth, movement/stillness.
The artworks are multi-layered and possess organic and otherworldly properties that hint at the sublime. She aims at a self reflective experience for the viewer.
