The Cook Club Bundaberg Easter in the Gardens 2025 Sponsor

The Cook Club brings a fresh flavour to Easter in the Gardens in 2025!
Easter in the Gardens 2025 just got even more exciting with The Cook Club coming on board as a first-time sponsor! A new club that's launched this year inspiring members to get creative in the kitchen, The Cook Club is a fantastic addition to this much-loved community event.
The Cook Club is all about helping members build confidence and independence through cooking, offering fun, hands-on experiences that teach valuable life skills. From baking to meal prep, their monthly get togethers are designed to make cooking accessible, engaging, and enjoyable for all ages.
For their first year as a sponsor, The Cook Club has named their GIANT egg ‘Carrot Patch Pete’, a playful nod to their love of cooking and creativity. Families visiting Easter in the Gardens can spot their egg among the beautiful displays and get inspired to whip up their own Easter treats at home!

Meet 'Carrot Patch Pete' Artist: Julie Hylands

Julie Hylands is a visual artist whose practice incorporates painting, light, installation and 3 dimensional works.
After completing a BA Visual Art with Honours in 2003 in Western Australia, she has held ten solo exhibitions and has participated in many group exhibitions. Julie relocated to Qld in 2015 where she currently practices from her home studio.
Julies’ practice is inspired through her presence in and around the ocean culminating in works that suggest a sense of depth, translucency and allure with many dichotomies at play - light/dark; surface/depth, movement/stillness.
The artworks are multi-layered and possess organic and otherworldly properties that hint at the sublime. She aims at a self reflective experience for the viewer.
