This is a great opportunity for locals and frequent flyers of the area to learn how to get the most out of the new park, how to use the park safely and confidently for those novices apprehensive of going it alone.
Fastplant can provide up to 20 helmets and skateboards for free, however, please bring your own if you have one, so they can help you with the board you’ll use every other day!
Don’t forget to bring:
- Hat
- Water bottle
- Sunscreen
Council will be providing a FREE BBQ for participants and family.
Wide Bay Sports Academy will also be around to chat to families, or anyone interested about their new Skateboarding program.
They have partnered with Skate Australia and the Australian Skateboarding Federation to build this development opportunity for an up-and-coming Olympic sport.
