Boolboonda Tunnel
A 20 minute drive out of Gin Gin along the Gin Gin-Mt Perry Road you will find the Boolboonda Tunnel. The longest unsupported tunnel in the southern hemisphere! A must see local attraction. We have fond memories of visiting the tunnel as kid. Read all about our visits HERE.
Cania Gorge National Park
Cania Gorge – 35km out of Monto boasts 3000 hectares of spectacular landscape, prominent sandstone cliffs, caves, eucalypt forest and dry rain forest with mosses, orchids, figs and vines growing in moist, sheltered areas. The kids will absolutely love exploring this great place. Make sure you pack your bikes, walking shoes and your togs. Visit Cania Gorge National Park for more info.
Mt Walsh Utopia Rock Pools
Mt Walsh Utopia Rock Pools are simply devine. Located in the Mt Walsh National Park just outside of Biggenden. Walk 1.5km from the car park to find the rock pools. Climb up and over the rocks to see Waterfall Creek and the rock pools. Read our review of Mt Walsh Utopia Rock Pools here
