Search for Sea Glass
Sea Esplanade, Burnett Heads
The township of Burnett Heads is located just 20 minutes from Bundaberg and hosts the local Port and Marina. Burnett Heads rests where the ocean meets the Burnett River.
There are two main beach areas at Burnett Heads, Oakes Beach and South Head. These beaches are very close with only a of 1/2 km separating them. Both areas can be choppy and if weather conditions are like this you need to be careful of rips. Both the Oaks and South Head are great at low tide for games, sand play, and searching for sea glass.
Enjoy a Picnic with Animals
