Riverfeast Bundaberg

Riverfeast Bundaberg

Riverfeast Bundaberg

Riverfeast Bundaberg is a unique entertainment, food and marketplace situated on the old Marine TAFE site in Scotland Street over East Bundaberg. The development has been dubbed Bundaberg’s own “Eat Street Markets” and comes alive every Friday evening from 4pm to 10pm and every third Sunday of the month from 2pm to 7pm.

Watch the sun go down over the Burnett River and be amazed by the array of international street foods, arts, crafts and retail stalls to wander through.

Enjoy live music, Australian craft beers, ciders and wines.  Riverfeast also boasts an awesome family friendly environment with a great kids-zone.

Stage one of Riverfeast has opened to a roaring success and it is anticipated that the development will be completed in three stages.  The site, situated on the Burnett River behind the old netball courts will also see marketplace pavilions constructed which will house everything from international food retailers, bars and clothing stores. A feature of the development will be the “Eat Street” style design, using shipping containers to create a boutique retail and courtyard dining experience.

There will also be a retrofitted and refurbished family-friendly tavern which will incorporate a kids’ area with a giant Scrabble wall!

We think this is a wonderful development for families living in and visiting the Bundaberg region and are thoroughly enjoying attending with our families. You can follow the progress of the Riverfeast Bundaberg development via their Facebook page.
