DNA Aquatics is a seasonal swim school with programs designed to start just in time for our rapidly approaching summer heat. Children need these vital skills as the beach will begin to beckon and the after-school swim will become an imperative part of the day. DNA Aquatics is ready to teach your children so they can become skilled swimmers for safety, lifestyle, sport, fitness & fun!
Operating from State School Pools they are big enough to offer great discounts yet small enough to provide personal attention to all swimmers. By swimming in the warmer months, with programs structured for terms & block lessons they produce fantastic swim results from consistency, with very few missed lessons. This has prompted DNA Aquatics to become a no make-up swim school thereby creating cost savings, coupled with the use of shared facilities allows DNA Aquatics to provide affordable swim lessons for the community of Bundaberg and surrounding areas.
Kepnock State High School Pool is a 25m 8-lane pool, Walkervale State School Pool also 25m 6-lane saltwater pool. Both outdoor pools are in direct sunlight creating the optimum temperature for operating season from October to April.

Learn to Swim Classes Bundaberg
Progressive program includes skills in water safety & confidence to stroke correction & squad development.
DNA Aquatics prides itself on personal attention and outstanding swimming instruction. Although the learning of the physical skills related to swimming and water safety is critical, great attention also must be paid to the positive attitudes and feelings that teachers develop with each student (and observer). A major part of what they offer each student is trust. For example they foster and develop this trust because what they are asking each student to do (open their eyes under water, dive into deep water or recover an object from the pool floor) needs to come from genuine positive reinforcement to inspire confidence.
The swim teachers adapt to unexpected circumstances; they are alert to the changing dynamics of each class and cater for them. Particularly in an aquatic environment, they function calmly and efficiently in all teaching situations and conditions, being alert, adaptable and flexible at all times. The teachers establish a cooperative working spirit with their class and between the students, using appropriate assertive techniques in all aspects of class management. Their programs have been developed from years of experience in teaching and coaching children from babies to adults.

Friday Fun Nights
DNA Aquatics celebrate with DNA families at the end of each swim term with their famous Friday Family Fun Nights!!
It’s a fun pool party night of games, food & prizes, which are Xmas and Easter themed. These nights are a reward for student for working hard all term.
Also a thank you to parents, grandparents and carers who even stretched to breaking point with extra curriculum activities galore, priorities time and budgets to ensure their loved ones learn a potentially life saving skills. It is an opportunity to enjoy DNA culture of genuine bonds with families and every student receives a lovely gift to celebrate the season.
Summer Holiday Intensive Block Lessons
School holiday intensive lessons are designed to help each swimmer reach their full potential. The daily repetition of a full week of lessons creates the ideal environment for learning and performance. Also a fun summer holiday activity in beautiful outdoor pools that even a reluctant swimmer will want to swim! *$50 Enrolled DNA Students *$40

*This is a very popular program, a $10 non-refundable deposit is required at time of booking to secure swim schedule placement for each swimmer. Balance of $40/$30 is then paid at first lesson.

DNA Aqua Fitness has a great range of water fitness classes suitable for all fitness levels to achieve weight & fitness goals. Water allows a great range of movement, builds strength, flexibility & muscle tone. Best of all the water provides impact protection, it is therapeutic and Donna and her team make sure you are always having Fun!
