I don't know anyone who does not love Wetside Water Park Hervey Bay. This is an awesome family friendly place to spend the day. With free entry this is definitely a Hervey Bay must do.
WetSide Water Park is located on the foreshore at the junction of Main Street and the Esplanade, Pialba, Hervey Bay and is a fun, eco-friendly public asset designed around water ‘infotainment’.

Aqua Ninja is the latest edition to Wetside Water Park!
Challenge yourself against the clock to splash and dash through this brand-new obstacle course! Made up of nine linked challenges which test strength, agility, co-ordination, and stamina. Water jets, cannons and dumpers are activated as participants move through the course. To boost the stakes, participants are timed, and spectators can also activate water jets, sprays and canons to hose down participants. It is the first of its kind in Australia and made possible with Federal Government funding. Users must meet both minimum requirements: 8 years old AND 140cm tall. Pending recruitment of more lifeguards, the Aqua Ninja Course will operate from 10am to 1pm on Saturdays and Sundays, while the Waterslides will run from 1.30pm to 5pm.

Entry, Change Rooms, Parking & Location
Entry to the water park is FREE
- FlipSide BoardRider: $7.50 per go
- Waterslides: $6.50 for 10 slides
- Aqua Ninja Course $5 for a single ride, or $12 for three rides
During Queensland State School Holidays WetSide is open 7 days 10am to 5pm (excluding June/July/Aug).
Change facilities are located in the park but can be quite busy. We prefer to change at the Seafront Oval facilities right next door to the park.
Parking can be a real problem, but I promise it is well worth the walk. When busy we tend to Park at the All Abilities Park just down the road and then walk along the Esplanade Path to Wetside. It saves lots of stress.
The park is really well maintained and always very clean. The water park itself is very well supervised by staff with kids having to line up to use the slides.
