130 DEDICATED EDUCATORS UNDER ONE ROOF!
Early Childhood Academic, Author and Presenter Caroline Fewster to Visit Bundaberg
Local Early Years Educators will have a rare opportunity to come together under one roof!
This exciting professional development is organized by the Bundaberg & District Early Childhood Network (BDECN). Together, approximately 130 dedicated Educators plan to meet and listen to presenter Early Childhood Academic, Author and Presenter, Caroline Fewster. Caroline commenced her career as a pre-school teacher and progressed to advisory and consultancy roles with regional and government education authorities.
Sean Harper, from Bundaberg Baptist Family Day Care invited Caroline as, “she offers early childhood educators a wealth of real world knowledge, combined with high level qualifications and great teaching strategies”.
BDECN Chair, Leonie Arnold, emphases, “it is vitally important that our Early Childhood Educators have access to high quality continual professional development opportunities. Leonie said she is expecting over 130 local Educators to attend the Workshop, showing the commitment the regions Educators have, to continually update their skills and to provide quality education and care to Bundaberg families.
Catherine Donaldson, St Luke’s Early Learning Centre feels that, “this presentation will build on Bundaberg’s highly passionate Educators’ existing practices and introduce new possibilities for documenting, teaching and learning.”
The Office of Early Childhood Education & Care has recognized the commitment of our local Educators, as Bundaberg & District Early Childhood Network, is one of the best attended and highly represented early years network within South East Queensland.
This opportunity is a collaboration between Network Members; Bundaberg Baptist Family Day Care, YMCA Childcare and Kindergarten Centre and St Luke’s Early Learning Centre and supported through the Workforce Council.
