3 Easy Christmas Baking Ideas for Kids

Marble Peppermint Bark
Ingredients:
- White Chocolate
- Dark or Milk Chocolate
- Peppermint extract
- Crushed Candy Canes
Method:
- Line a baking try with baking paper.
- Cut up chocolate into small pieces and melt in separate bowls using a Bain-marie or microwave in 30sec intervals then add in peppermint extract.
- Poor melted white chocolate and dark chocolate into the baking tray and swirl them together.
- Sprinkle crushed candy canes on top and refrigerate until solid.
Nutella Twist Christmas Tree
Ingredients:
- 2 Sheets Puff Pastry
- Nutella
- 1 Egg
- Raspberries for Decoration
Method:
- Preheat oven at 200˚C.
- Cut out a Christmas tree shape out of both sheets of pastry (a big tringle with a rectangle trunk).
- Spread Nutella on the bottom sheet of pastry leaving space along the edges and lay the other sheet of pastry on top.
- Cut horizontally through both sheets of pastry to create the branches of the tree, be careful not to cut through the ‘trunk’ of the tree.
- Beat egg. Twist each branch of the tree and brush with egg wash.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until puffed and golden.
- Let it cool and decorate with berries as baubles.

Chocolate Coconut Balls
Ingredients:
- Plain Sweet Biscuits (crushed)
- Sweetened Condensed Milk
- Cocoa Powder
- Desiccated Coconut
Method:
- Crush biscuits using a rolling pin or food processor.
- Add sweetened condensed milk, coca powder and desiccated coconut to the crushed biscuits.
- Roll the mixture into balls and coat in more coconut.
