Bundaberg Nature Play Community Forum
Bundaberg Nature Play Community Forum
I am so super excited about this community forum. Nature Play QLD will be in Bundaberg on the 15th June to host the Bundaberg Nature Play Community Forum. This forum aims to open up the conversation and talk about the way our kids play and what this means for their development.
Special guests will include, Dr Rachael Sharman, lecturer and researcher in psychology specialising in child/adolescent development. Hyahno Moser program manager at Nature Play QLD. Moira Thompson a local who grew up in Bundaberg and now lives in Biggenden. Moira is experienced in outdoor recreation.
We need to talk about the way kids play
Nature Play QLD’s mission is to increase the time children spend in unstructured play outdoors and in nature. They believe as do I that nature play is fundamental to a full and healthy childhood.
Join in this community discussions about how we need to change to protect our children’s right to play.
