Bundaberg New Year’s Eve Fireworks 2026 – Family Celebrations at ANZAC Park

Celebrate New Year’s Eve with the family at ANZAC Park in Bundaberg, with live entertainment, food and two spectacular fireworks displays over the Burnett River.
Bundaberg Regional Council’s New Year’s Eve celebrations return on Thursday 31 December 2026, offering a free evening out for families looking to farewell 2026 and welcome the new year. The festivities begin at 7pm, with live music from the Spargo Brothers until 10.30pm, followed by DJ Rohan keeping the celebrations going through to midnight.
Two fireworks displays for families
Families with younger children can enjoy the early fireworks display at 8pm, without needing to stay out until midnight. It’s a great opportunity for little ones to experience the excitement of New Year’s Eve while still getting home at a reasonable hour. For families with older children who want to stay up late, a second fireworks display will light up the sky at midnight to welcome 2027.
What families need to know
Bring a picnic blanket and find a comfortable spot along the riverfront to enjoy the entertainment and fireworks together.
Food will be available to purchase, and families can enjoy the atmosphere of the riverside celebrations throughout the evening. With large crowds expected for this popular community event, allow extra time to arrive, find parking and settle in before the 8pm fireworks.
