Santa Photos at Sugarland Plaza
A photo with Santa is a Christmas tradition for plenty of families, whether it's a baby's first Christmas or the annual snap that gets pulled out each December. Santa is arriving at Sugarland Plaza this month, and bookings are now open for those who'd like to lock in a time.
Santa arrives on Sunday 22 November, with photos starting from $20 and a range of photo packages and Christmas keepsakes available. Families can book a five-minute session with Santa online, and a $5 non-refundable pre-payment is needed to hold the booking. That amount is credited towards any photo package purchased on the day, except for free photo promotions. Larger groups or multiple families should book three or more time slots. Photos with Mrs Claus and Santa together are also available, as well as pet photos with Santa. For pet photos, pets and their families wait in a designated waiting area outside the BWS entrance before heading in, and pets must leave the shopping centre straight after the session. Walk-ins are welcome, subject to availability on the day, and cancellations need to be made at least 24 hours before the appointment.
Booking ahead can take some of the stress out of the visit, particularly with little ones who are best seen at a certain time of day, or for families trying to fit it around other plans. It means less time waiting in a queue and more time enjoying the moment. For many families, a photo with Santa also becomes a way to mark each year, with a record of how much the kids have grown, and the pets are included too.
