Can you believe it! Week 2 of school holiday’s starts tomorrow! There are so many activities on across Bundaberg we thought we would put together a Bundy School Holiday Week 2 Must Do’s list.

10 Bundy School Holiday Must Do’s
1. Head to the free outdoor Movie Night at Alexandra Park
The Bundaberg Regional Council are kindly putting on a free outdoor movie night at Alexandra Park on the30th September. Pack a picnic or purchase something from the bbq. Food starts 6pm, movie 7pm. Alvin and The Chipmunks: The Road Chimp.
2. Check out Sugarland and Hinkler Central’s Ice Age activities
Both Hinkler Central and Sugarland Shoppingtown are hosting some awesome Ice Age activities this week. Hinkler Central will have a free Ice Age Interactive Immersive Zone where kids can get up close and personal will all kinds of interactive Ice Age activities. Sugarland Shoppingtown will have prehistoric Ice Age robotic animals roaming the centre as well as an Ice Age craft village.
3. Check out Alloway Observatory
Alloway Observatory is open each Friday evening to the public from dusk. Our Wide Bay Kids love this place.
4. Try some of the FREE Art activities at BRAG Park
The Bundaberg Regional Gallery will have some free craft activities in BRAG Park this week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday this week from 10:00 am and 11:30 am.
5. Book the kids into a Di Stirling Pottery Class
Di Stirling Pottery is again hosting her fabulous Children’s Pottery Holiday Program. Kids love her classes we thoroughly recommend them.
6. Head to Bundy Bowl for some awesome family fun
We love Bundy Bowl and Leisure Complex! Our Wide Bay Kids favourites are laser tag and the dodgems. They are open 7 days over the school break from 10am to till late.
7. Pick your own strawberries
Pick your own strawberries at Tinaberries or SSS Strawberries. We went twice last week and it was awesome fun. Both are open 7 days.
8. Book the Kids into a FREE Bunnings Workshop
Bunnings host free workshops for kids each Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday over the school break. Bookings are essential.
9. Head to the Pyjama Party Movie Morning
The Moncrieff Entertainment Centre are hosting another of their awesome movie mornings on the 28th September. Dress in your pj’s and head to the theatre for some great pre-movie games and crafts from 10am. Kubo and The Two Strings screens at 11am.
10. Check out Woodgate Family Market Day
And finally on the last day of the holidays head to Woodgates annual Family Market Day – 3rd October from 7:30am. They expect over 150 stalls. This market usually closes the Esplanade, so well worth a look.
