The magic of Easter is celebrated for 30 wondrous days at Easter in the Gardens.

Pick up or download a map and hunt for hidden Easter bunnies and ten GIANT Easter eggs. You will be searching high and low, far and wide to find all the larger-than-life GIANT eggs.
Easter in the Gardens is free, fun and inclusive of everyone. It’s the ultimate GIANT Easter Egg Hunt!
Explorers of all ages can follow the trail of eggs, featuring artwork designed by local artists, community groups and school children. There are games to play and puzzles to solve along the way and once the trail is complete, place your map into the entry box at the Gardens to go into the draw to win weekly prizes! Ts&Cs apply.

Egg Hunt
Using the hunt map locate all 10 GIANT eggs. On the map entry form record your answers to the clues found at each egg. Include your name, contact information and event info and drop the entry form into the box located inside Cafe 1928 at the Botanic Gardens (or submit your entry online here).
All correct entries submitted will be in the running to win a prize. Winners will be drawn weekly and contacted to collect their prize. There will be 4 Egg Hunt winners in total.
Find the Golden Egg
The Golden Egg will be hidden at the Bundaberg Botanic Gardens for one day only during Easter in the Gardens. Keep an eye on our posts and stories on socials so you know when it’s been hidden!
If you are the lucky one to find the special GOLDEN EGG, return it to the staff at the Hinkler Hall of Aviation and you will win a super-sized prize!
People's Choice Award
Vote for your favourite GIANT egg and you could win! The Easter in the Gardens, 2023 People’s Choice Competition will see one egg voted as the 'best of the best'! Submit your entry online and you will be in the running to win a cool prize!

FAQ
A printed map is part of our Easter School Holiday Pocket Guide which is being delivered to schools and childcare centres from 27 March. Copies of the Guide, including the map, is also available on the brochure stand located inside Cafe 1928, at the Gardens.
A digital map is also available here or via scanning a QR Code at the Gardens.
When you participate in Easter in the Gardens 2023 you will have the chance to win prizes!

Golden Egg Hunt: One specialty marked 'Golden Egg' has been hidden at the Gardens. Find this egg, return it to the staff at the Hinkler Hall of Aviation and you will win a super-sized prize! There will be one Golden Egg Hunt winner in total.
People's Choice Award: Vote for your favourite GIANT egg design and you will go in the draw to win a prize! Entries for the People's Choice Award can only be made online by choosing your favourite design, adding your name, contact and event information. One vote per person. A winner will be drawn at the conclusion of the event and contacted to collect their prize. Links to vote for your favourite egg will be found on signage next to each of the 10 Giant eggs. There will be one People's Choice Award winner in total.
Each GIANT Egg will have a sign located near it. The sign will have games for you to play while admiring the Egg. Simon Says, Hop Scotch and a Sing-a-long are just a few of the games.
Each GIANT Egg sign will also have a puzzle/question/clue for you to answer and record on the map entry form. Drop the entry form into the box located inside Cafe 1928 at the Botanic Gardens for your chance to win a prize.
The Eggs will remain permanently on display for the entire month of April. 30 wonderous days of magic! You can visit the Bundaberg Botanic Gardens 7 days a week, 5:30am to 6:45pm. If you visit the gardens and it is too busy, come back another day during April.

‘Play & Puzzle’ (“Game of skill”), ‘Golden Egg’ (‘Game of skill’) and ‘People’s Choice’ (‘Random Draw’) begins on 01/04/2023 at 5 AM (Brisbane) and ends on 30/04/2023 at 2PM (Brisbane) (the “Promotion Period”).
