Easter in the Gardens 2025 – An Egg-cellent Adventure!
Get cracking on the ultimate GIANT Easter Egg Hunt at the Bundaberg Botanic Gardens! You’ll be egg-sploring high and low, near and far, to track down the larger-than-life GIANT eggs hidden throughout the gardens.
This free, fun, and inclusive event is open to egg-plorers of all ages. Wander along the pathways searching for GIANT eggs, created by local artists. There are egg-citing games and puzzles to solve along the way—complete the trail and pop your hunt map into the entry box at the Gardens for a chance to win an egg-stra special prize! Ts&Cs apply.
How the Egg Hunt Works:
- Grab your hunt map and start the egg-venture by locating all the GIANT eggs.
- Solve the clues at each egg and record your answers on the map.
- Include your name and contact info then drop your completed map into the box inside Café 1928 at the Botanic Gardens (or submit your entry online).
- All correct entries will be in the running to win an egg-citing prize! The winner will be drawn and contacted to collect their prize.

Find the Golden Eggs
Golden Eggs will be hidden at the Bundaberg Botanic Gardens some time between 1st and 30th April. Follow Wide Bay Kids on Facebook and Instagram, we will post updates each time a Golden Egg has been hidden and claimed. If you are the lucky ones to find the special GOLDEN EGGS, follow the instructions printed inside the eggs to claim your prize.
