Fingerprint Christmas Tree
Fingerprint Christmas Tree
Thanks to Wide Bay mum Nikki Sorbello for this cute Christmas craft idea! We loved this idea so much that we added it to our list of christmas crafts to make at playgroup. The kids had so much fun making them.
What you need:
- Paint, red, green and brown
- Card Stock
- pencil
- 1 or more Wide Bay Kids Fingers
What you do:
- Decide on what you will to make with your card stock….a card, a wall hanging, a gift
- Lightly draw the outline of your Christmas tree in pencil
- Using a finger dipped in green paint, have your Wide Bay Kids dot along the pencil line to create the shape of the tree
- Have your Wide Bay Kids fill in the middle of the tree with green finger painting
- Wait for the green paint to dry
- Then do some more finger painting but this time with red. Make a star at the top and place some random decorations on the tree
- Finally use some brown paint to make the trunk of the tree.
