Our Wide Bay Kids have voted the newly opened Hervey Bay Adventure Playground at Pialba as one of the regions top parks!

Located right on the Esplanade, a short walk from Wet Side Water Park, with direct beach access, we think this park is going to be a big hit with older Wide Bay Kids! 

The huge structure comprises of three massive slippery slides.  Our WBKs enjoyed the challenge of climbing to the top and then the thrill of sliding down each slide!

The only way up is to negotiate the net ladder or web netting, each with their own unique challenges.  Our 5 and 8 year old WBK's both managed to climb to the top after some initial challenges.

Children under 4 may struggle to get to the top without adult assistance.

Once at the top, kids choose one of three slides to ride down. Two of these slides are only accessible by walking through a netted tunnel, another challenge!

​The park also features a swing set and net swing.

The Hervey Bay All Abilities Playground is located alongside the Adventure Playground and is a great play space for children of all ages.

The playground is under shade sails and features equipment suitable for children in wheel chairs. There are four different types of swings as well as a sit down merry go round. 

The park also has a unique sand pit area, native bee hive and beautiful gardens. 

There is also signage displaying ways to communicate through pictures.
