Listen to a Local Series – Leah Follett
Listen to a Local Series – Leah Follett
On the weekend I had the pleasure to sit down with Leah Follett for a chat. Leah grew up in Bundaberg and will be a special guest presenter with Pete Evans at the Paleo Way Tour event in Bundaberg later this week.
Leah is making somewhat of a name for herself! Those of you familiar with Pete Evans Facebook page will be aware that he often shares everyday Australians wellness journey’s. Leah’s personal story was the first story he featured on his page.
Leah is a Teacher, Health Coach, podcaster, wife and mum of 2 very busy boys. At the Paleo Way event Leah will share her families personal health journey to wellness and her real food philosophy.
In our interview with Leah we cover:
- Why Leah thinks Bundaberg residents will attend the event (and she admits she thinks it’s because Pete Evans is a spunk)
- How she came to be invited to speak at the event
- Her take home message for those attending
- The role of a health coach
- How a health coach can help everyday people implement lifestyle changes prescribed by doctors and naturopaths.
When Leah first told me that she would be speaking at the Paleo Way event she mentioned that it would be good to be able to provide a local resource list for places to source food within the Bundaberg community. I immediately tasked our wellness blogger, Joanne Hall to get cracking! This has resulted in our very own Wide Bay Kids publication that sets out step-by-step instructions on how to get started on a clean eating journey. You can obtain a copy of our Free Clean Eating Guide HERE.
This short interview gives you a small snippet into who Leah is and will hopefully wet your appetite to hear more from her.
