We asked St Luke's what sponsoring Easter in the Gardens means to them:
"St Luke's Anglican School is thrilled to be a part of Easter in the Gardens. The opportunity to connect with the community and celebrate this holiday season is an experience that we truly value and we are honoured to be a part of such a fun and engaging activity. We hope you enjoy it as much as we have.
An Easter message from St Luke's Anglican School:
"Easter is a time to remember that God so loved the world that he sent His son, Jesus, with a message of hope and light to bring peace and joy to our world. The journey that Jesus takes to the cross is one marked by an unfair trial, injustice, persecution, and vilification. Death, without compassion or care, is the result. But this is not the whole story. The cross was a finish line, signifying an end to the weight of sin and painful past, but it is also a starting line, for a new, revitalized life of promise, blessing and restoration.
‘He is Risen’ is a declaration and celebration of life that comes victorious out of the journey of Jesus’ pain and suffering through the resurrection and the promise of the living presence of Jesus, alive and with us, in every circumstance and in every place.
The Easter message is a message of hope and light. Because of the resurrection. At St Luke’s we celebrate the hope and light that shines from each and every person as part of God’s ongoing creation confident in God's plan. Our talented Mrs Fallon has captured this message beautifully in the St Luke’s piece for Easter in the Gardens."

The inspiration for St Luke's Egg 'Shine Bright'
‘The beauty of a diamond lies in its ability to absorb and reflect light, revealing a brilliance that is unparalleled. Like this diamond, life at St Luke’s Anglican School is multi-faceted and the attentive, dedicated education that St Luke’s provides encourages students to shine as their unique selves.
This diamond is symbolic of our commitment to nurturing students' passion and talents to allow them to shine as individuals. To be the best they can be.
The red bow wrapping the diamond represents an offering – how we, as individuals, offer our gifts to others, while the cross signifies how our faith guides us on our journey.’ – Mrs Fallon (Visual Arts)
May we be filled with deep and lasting hope, grace and light as we celebrate Easter."
