When it is raining it can be tough to keep your kids entertained. We have put together a list of our favourite places in Bundaberg to visit when it is raining. Bundy Bowl and Leisure
Loads of fun for the whole family. Bundy Bowl and Leisure is the place to visit anytime but when it is raining it is the perfect place for your family to run wild. Bundy Bowl and Leisure are Queensland's largest indoor entertainment venue. Bundy Bowl & Leisure Centre is THE place to host your child's birthday party or to spend a day out in air conditioned comfort! Amazing facilities with heaps of options for you to choose from! Bundaberg Libraries
Bundaberg Regional Libraries provide an awesome service to our region. We are so lucky to have 4 libraries: Gin Gin Library, Childers Library, Woodgate Library and Bundaberg Library. They are a great place to visit with lots of things to do in Bundaberg with kids when it is raining and best of all it is all free. Bundaberg Regional Libraries host regular children's session at the Bundaberg, Childers and Gin Gin Libraries. Check out what is happening at your local library here.
We love Baby wiggle and giggle and story time. During school holidays the libraries run extra fun sessions for kids of all ages.
Monsoon Aquatics Coral Farm tour
Experience a one-hour tour of Australia’s largest coral farm, learn about growing coral and witness up close the wonder and beauty of up to 200 different species of marine life found all around the Australian coast.
Located just 20 minutes by road from Bundaberg CBD, adjacent to the marina at the port of Bundaberg.

Moncrieff Entertainment Centre
The Moncrieff Entertainment Centre has been the heart of great family entertainment in Bundaberg for many years! It is a great place to go in Bundaberg with kids anytime especially when it is raining. The venue caters to all forms of entertainment, including cinema, live theatre, concerts and conferencing and in more recent times the Centre has hosted events from art exhibitions to children's and holiday events. Hinkler Hall of Aviation
Set in the beautiful Bundaberg Botanic Gardens, the Hinkler Hall of Aviation and Hinkler House brings to life the adventures and achievements of Australia's famous pioneer solo aviator Bert Hinkler. Our Wide Bay Kids love visiting and it is a great indoor experience. We love the interactive displays, touch screens and hands-on interactive stations - the kids will love it too. The Exhibition Hall consists of 20 exhibits including static, mechanical and high-tech displays, interactive attractions, artefacts, six aircraft and various public artworks. You can fly like Bert on one of the flight and glide simulators; watch Bert's life achievements and personal story in the globe movie theatrette; and sit in an Avro Baby aircraft replica. Bundaberg Barrel
A great place to visit the Bundaberg with kids when it is raining is the Bundaberg Brewed Drinks Barrel. It is a one-of-a-kind experience suitable for the whole family. You can sample every one of the world-famous brews through the fun and informative guided tastings then select 6 of your favourites for a mix-it-yourself take home pack. We love the self-guided walk through of the gallery to learn about how Bundaberg Brewed Drinks craft and bottle the brews. You and your Wide Bay kids play ‘guess the flavour’ with the smellography wall, learn more about the real ingredients used in the brews, unlock the secret to the great taste and see the brewery in action via the 360 degree cameras.
