Boreham Park Bundaberg
Boreham Park Bundaberg
Boreham Park Bundaberg. Boreham Park and Playground is one of our favourite local parks to visit.
It's a beautifully shaded park with lots and lots of space! There are six fantastic areas to the park, the water zone, the playgrounds, the mini bmx tracks, the flying fox, exercise equipment and the open spaced areas. This park is fantastic for kids and adults of all ages with something to suit everyone and is very popular with us locals after school and on weekends.
The Playgrounds
There are two playground areas. A fantastic tiny tots playground that has a slide, climbing gym, swings and a themed exploration area to encourage kids to use their imagination. The second area is for kids aged from about 7 right up to adults. There is a great flying fox, climbing gym, swings, and an electronic movement game that kids of all ages will just love. Take your bike or scooter and hoot around on one of the great paths.
The Mini BMX tracks
There are two mini bmx tracks. One for the littlies and a larger one for kids aged from about 6 right up to adults. The track is a dirt mound circuit that is probably about 150m in length. Bring your bike and give this a go it is great fun!. I've even seen kids on scooters and skate boards tackle this track.
The Open Spaced areas
Almost half of this huge park is taken up with an open spaced oval area that includes a cricket pitch. You will also find a concreted wall area that is suitable for handball or one sided tennis. There are soccer goals, basketball hoops and stationery exercise equipment.
The Zero Depth Water Space
This area is a great way for kids (particularly those not old enough to swim safely) to splash and cool down without parents needing to worry about deeper water. Te water play area is designed for younger children.
