Easter in the Gardens is back and better than ever in 2024. In the month of April, Wide Bay Kids is hosting Easter in the Gardens once again in the Botanical Gardens. Join us for a month-long magical event for everyone! Explorers of all ages can follow the trail of GIANT eggs, featuring artwork designed by local artists, community groups and school children.

There are games to play and puzzles to solve along the way too! View the pull-out map on P. 12-13, locate all the GIANT eggs, answer a question, then submit your completed hunt map entry form to go in the draw for your chance to win weekly prizes! In addition to the walking tours you will also be able to enjoy:

 Family Fun Day Day 

• 12th April 2024
• Bundaberg Botanical Gardens
• Visitors can expect to participate in art activities, listen to storytelling and poetry readings, and experience live roaming entertainers.

Self-Drive Tour

• Available 17 March to 14 April
• Maps will be available online mid-March
• Take a road trip across the Bundaberg region hunting for giant Easter-themed installations

Community Bus Tour

• Bookings open mid-February with the tour taking place on Friday 22 March
• Tour across the Bundaberg region, locate the installations and visit destinations
• Enjoy the driving tour by bus

Audio Descriptions

• This feature is available from 17 March to 14 April
• Scan the QR code at each giant egg to listen to audio narrations describing the egg's design and its location within the gardens
