How to make Easter egg wool ball nests
How to make Easter egg wool ball nests
How cool are these Easter egg wool nests? This is such a fun and simply activity to create with your Wide Bay Kids during the Easter School Holidays. We enjoyed making these and thought we would show you how to make your own Easter Egg Wool Ball Nests at home. You can usually find all the supplies in a draw somewhere at home, it isn’t messy and the kids will stay occupied for 30 minutes to an 1 hour with this one. You can share your designs with us, we would love to see what you create – use the hashtag #widebaykidseaster and we will share your creations. Here is how you can make one of your own:
What you need:
- Water balloons
- Small eggs
- Wool
- Craft glue
- Water
What you do:
- Insert chocolate Easter egg into a water balloon, inflate and tie off.
- Mix equal parts of craft glue with water.
- Dip wool into glue mixture and wrap around balloon until evenly covered.
- Once dry pop balloon.
Now the fun begins trying to retrieve the eggs from the nest!
