Easter Egg Shell Craft

This is such a fun Easter activity. We had a great time doing this Easter Egg Shell Craft, I was really surprised how much my Wide Bay Kids enjoyed it. We made some super yummy curried eggs with some of the boiled eggs we had left over and put the rest in a salad, they were used up in no time! What you need:

Eggs
Food colouring
Pencil
PVA Glue
Heavy cardstock paper
Tray or newspaper

What to do:

Colour dye some hard-boiled eggs. To do this just boil your egg in water with some food colouring. You’ll get six or seven good pictures with fifteen eggs. You could even leave some of the egg shells white if you wanted to, especially if you use coloured paper.
Crack open your boiled eggs and save all the shell pieces. Set aside to dry.
Place the egg shells in a plastic bag and crush them to small bits.
Grab your paper and place it on a tray or newspaper.
With your pencil, draw an Easter image like Easter eggs, a bunny or an Easter basket.
Trace over your pencil drawing with glue.
Sprinkle your egg shells over the glue. Shake off the extra and putting back into the bag.
Let the images dry, you can then display your creation in a frame or give as an Easter card.
