Here's your family friendly guide to New Year's Eve Fraser Coast!

Our Wide Bay Kids love fireworks at new year and we so do we! There is nothing we all enjoy more than snuggling up on the picnic rug with our glow sticks waiting for the fireworks.

There will be early fireworks displays in Hervey Bay at 8pm and at 9pm in Maryborough see below for details.

Lots of local pubs and clubs will also hold special new year celebrations so check what your favourite has on.

There are two great family friendly events on in Maryborough this new year here's the details.

Maryborough Cricket Club Family Fun Fair

New Year’s Eve Fraser Coast Family Events 1

The Maryborough Cricket Club are hosting a New Years Eve Family Fun Fair. The night will kick off at 5pm at Newtown Oval Maryborough!

The night will feature:

Live entertainment
Amusement rides
Glowsticks
Outside can bar
Food stalls
Fireworks at 9pm and more!

When: 31st December

Time: from 5pm

Where: Maryborough Cricket Club

Fireworks: 9pm

The Brolga Theatre are again hosting the New Year’s Eve Brolga Riverside event and midnight fireworks display. Live music will be provided by Soul City on the Riverstage.

Settle in with a table under the River Terrace, or bring a rug for a picnic on the lawn. Food stalls including, wood fired pizzas, and bar service will be available.

The night will finish with a spectacular fireworks display over the Mary River at midnight. This year a firework display will also be held at 9pm for families to enjoy.
