Did you know a piece of Bert Hinkler's glider was taken up in the space shuttle Challenger in 1986? Come and make your very own paper craft space shuttle while you watch the amazing short film about this historic flight and its Hinkler ties.

The Hall consists of just over 20 exhibits which include touch screens, stationary displays, theatrettes and hands-on interactive stations. Entry fees apply for these attractions.
The Bundaberg Botanic Gardens
A fabulous place to explore with kids! Set on 27 hectares of land there is plenty of room to walk, run, scoot, ride bikes and enjoy being in the great outdoors.
The gardens have 5 main areas; the playground, the gardens, boardwalk and lake, the steam train rides, the cafe and museums. There definitely is something for everyone.
The Australian Sugar Cane Railway
Train rides every Sunday on the track located in the picturesque Bundaberg Botanic Gardens. Operates additional days during school holidays. Steam and diesel engines operate. The ride takes about 10 minutes so there is never too long to wait for the next train.
