Riverview Environmental Reserve Walking Track

Riverview Enviornmental Reserve
Riverview Environmental Reserve is just 15 minutes from the city centre located at the picture perfect Riverview on the Elliott River. This a great spot to introduce kids to bush walking or fishing with 3 short easy walks to choose from.
The Walk
The reserve hosts 3 well maintained walking tracks. The river walk approximately 1.2km return, the Mangrove circuit 210m and the Bloodwood Circuit 820m. The river walk runs parallel to the Elliott River while the mangrove and bloodwood circuits head inland.
The tracks are wide and suitable for kids bikes and prams with pump-up types. The vegetation throughout each of the tracks is very different ranging from pine forests to bush.
The mangrove circuit contains an area within the mangroves that would make a great fishing or lobby spot for kids. We did all 3 walks and it took us approximately 40 minutes
Facilities
There are toilets, a playground, bbq’s, the hugest picnic/games area, boat ramp, and a floating jetty located very close to the walking track entrance.
