BUSS PARK
We love picnicing in Buss Park especially during December when the Christmas tree is up and the lights are on. It has such a festive atmosphere.
TURTLE PARK BARGARA
This is always a great spot. The kids can play on the playground and we can sit by in the lush surrounds. We highly recommend the fish and chips from across the road .
HUMMOCK LOOKOUT
This is a great spot to watch the sun go down. There is plenty of room for a game of something while you are there too.
CHRISTSEN PARK BARGARA
We love this newly renovated park area. Lots and lots of open space as well as a playground. Bring your own picnic, cook on one of the bbq's or buy some fish and chips.
BEACH FORESHORES
All of our local beaches have beautiful secluded sections along their foreshores perfect for twilight picnicing. Our favourites are at Burnett and Elliott Heads but don't be limited by these, each beach has their own amazing spot.
Don't forget to pack a light jumper when you are twilight picnicing especially if you are heading to the beach, the wind can get quite cool even during summer. Its also worthwhile popping in some mozzie repellent you never know where these guys are likely to turn up.
Happy picnicing
