Everything you need to know about going to Bundaberg WaterWorld
Only 2 more sleeps until Bundaberg WaterWorld opens!!!………and I know some super excited kids that can’t wait to get in there and have some FUN! I had a chat with the Manager this week and got the low down on how things will run. Hopefully any questions you may have will be answered here:
Where is it: Bundaberg WaterWorld will be held at the Bundaberg Recreational Precinct and entry will be via University Drive.
When is it on: 19th to the 27th September.
Pool Session Times: 10am-1pm, 11am-2pm, 12pm-3pm or 1pm-4pm. Each ticket holder will be given a colour coded wrist band which will entitle them entry to the pools for the balance of the session time……….. so arrive 15 minutes early to get your full 3 hours in.
Entry Fees: Entry to Bundaberg WaterWorld is FREE. If you wish to use the slides or pools you need to buy a ticket which costs $20. Your ticket will last for 3 hours in accordance with the session times above. A discount is available for group bookings over 15, email annika@ofa.net.au for further information. Parents of young children who will use only the wading pool are not required to buy a ticket for themselves only for their child.
Where to buy Tickets: Tickets can be brought online HERE or at the gate on the day.
Age Restrictions: Bundaberg WaterWorld is designed for children 16 years and under. Under 4’s must be accompanied by an adult at all times and cannot not use the Dino Slide. Adults can only use the Dino Slide and the all ages wading pool.
Pools and Slides: There are 5 pools in total and 4 of them have slides attached. The Dragon Pool, Frozen Pool and Water Zorb Ball Pool are all aimed at children from 4 to 16 years. All children accessing the slides must be able to walk up them unassisted. Parents can lift children onto the slides and then wait at the bottom.

- thongs
- if shade is important to you a beach umbrella or some shaded device………remember the ground will be hard

Don’t bring:

What will be there:
- 5 pools, 4 with slides
- food vans selling ice cream, hot dogs, hot chips, pluto pups, chicken burgers, cold drinks

- instant coffee (if you’re like me and dislike it, have one before you go!)
What won’t be there:

I hope this was helpful and answers some of the questions you have had. Let me know if there is anything else you would like to know and I will see what I can find out for you.
