Thanks to the folks at Perpetual Preschool we’ve put together this list of fun kids Easter songs to sing over the Easter Holidays. Also a big thanks to Christine Avery for letting us know about this great site! Our Wide Bay Kids love singing, we thought you might like it too. This is a simple idea that doesn’t require any preparation. Bunny Bunny
Bunny, bunny, bunny, you’re so funny
With your twitching nose (wiggle nose)
Bunny, bunny, bunny, you’re so funny
From your head (point to head) to your toes (bend over and touch toes)
Bunny, bunny, bunny your ears are funny (make bunny ears with hands on top of head)
They’re too big for you…
Bunny, bunny, bunny, you’re so funny…
Everyone loves you (kids hug themselves)
Bunny Hokey-Pokey
You put your bunny ears in
You put your bunny ears out
You put your bunny ears in
And you shake them all about
You do the Bunny Pokey
And you turn yourself around
That’s what it’s all about!
Add bunny paws, bunny feet, funny nose, fluffy or bunny tail.
Hippoty-Hoppity Easter Bunny
(Sung to the tune of the “Eensy,Weensy Spider”)
Children sing this song seated with legs out stretched and hands touching toes.
The Hippoty Hopity Easter Bunny is coming straight at me
.Closer and closer he hops up on my knee.
Up to my shoulder the Bunny’s much to near.
Happy Easter, he whispers in my ear.
As the children sing this song, their hands hop from their feet to their knees and eventually to their shoulders and ears.
Little Bunnies
Have children stand in a line (shoulder to shoulder and wearing bunny ears) while you sing the following song.
At the end of each verse, point to one bunny, who then hops back to their seat! We count the number of bunnies left and do it over!
There were eight little bunnies a-sittin’ on a hill
Eight little bunnies were oh-so still.
They sniffed the air, and one hopped away
How many bunnies were left to play?
Five Little Easter Bunnies
Five Little Easter Bunnies Five little Easter bunnies standing at the door
One boils the eggs and then there are four
Four little Easter bunnies sitting under a tree
One dyes the eggs and then there are three
Three little Easter bunnies wondering what to do
One decorates the eggs and then there are two
Two little Easter bunnies, of what fun.
One puts the eggs in a basket, and then there was one.
One little Easter bunny, what can you say?
He hides the eggs for a happy Easter day!
Sleeping Bunnies
(Children laying on floor pretending to be asleep)
All the bunnies fast asleep,
All the bunnies not a peep,
If I should sing my song today,
Will all those bunnies get up and play?
(Children get up and hop around room)
Get up little bunnies hopping, hopping,

This song can be adapted to any animal e.g. chicks chirping kangaroo’s hopping dinosaurs stomping etc.
Baby Bunny
Bunny Baby bunny bounces high (jump high

Robbie the Rabbit
Robbie the rabbit is fat,fat,fat (Pat your belly)
His soft little paws go pat,pat,pat (Tap one hand with the other)
His soft little ears go flop,flop,flop (Arms over head, bend hands over and wave up & down)
And when Robbie runs he goes hop,hop,hop!(Hop 3 X )
